I had a question about breeding monsters in DWM2, Does a monster need to have the spell in it's spell list to pass it on? Or does it just need to have had a parent that had it to pass it on.What I mean is, I made an AgDevil from a Pixie and a Cursed Lamp, the Cursed Lamp had Twinhit in it's spell list. However the AgDevil's int is increasing very slowly so it will take awhile for it to have the int necessary to learn Twinhit. If I bred it with another monster would their offspring still be able to learn Twinhit or does AgDevil need to learn the spell itself before it can be passed on?. From what I understand, spells/skills in both parents' skill list will be passed on.

Monsters

To learn any skill, your monsters need certain requirements (usually INT) to learn that skill. For example, I bred my slime with megamagic with a mad gopher to make a spot slime. That spot slime can still learn MegaMagic if it has enough INT when it levels up. That said, it's not possible to get the skill if your monster is maxed out.Don't forget that some skills can be learned from having the INT needed and some prerequisite skill(s). For instance, Big Bang can be learned from having White Air, White Fire, Explodet, and the INT needed (IIRC).Stat Growths in this game change drastically but I don't know the details behind it. You may find your Ag Devil growing slowly in some stats but may improve dramatically after so point. I understand those bits, what I was wondering about was. Let's say I bred 2 Monsters.

Monster A and Monster B, Monster B has Twinhit, and Monster C is born.I level Monster C but by the time grinding out it's level becomes too difficult it still hasn't learned TwinHit so I breed Monster C with Monster D to make Monster F. Neither Monster C or Monster D knew TwinHit when the breeding took place, and Twinhit is not one of Monster Fs 3 skills. So does that mean Monster F will never learn Twinhit? Or does it have a chance to learn it just because it's Grandparent Monster B knew it?. You are correct, if the parent doesn't have the skill and it's not part of it's natural skills then the baby won't have it. I actually just played through both recently for the first time since they came out and I learned it the hard way, haha.So say you want to pass on Healus from a Healslime. The baby will have Healus available to it because it's parent had it as a natural skill but unless it's offspring learns Healus before breeding, it's baby won't keep the skill unless it learns it naturally.
