In Art of Conquest, you will encounter over 100 different kinds of units of 5 unique races, enemies of 6 kingdoms and mighty bosses to fight. A world of mystery and magic is yours to explore! Art of Conquest FEATURES - Unlike other strategy games, Art of Conquest gives you REAL BATTLE, REAL CONTROL.

Here is a quick race overview for you, some of it may be my personal opinion:1. Humans: Strongest lategame race due to an incredibly broken mechanic (Virion resurrect). Prioritize research on Swordman, supplement with borrowed Dragon Turtle and Rakan Crossbows (for duels) or dwarf Cannons (for siege). The standard lategame seige setup (4 gold swords, 2 archers, 3 cannons, turtle) can comfortably take down any Human or Rakan defense and most dwarf defenses. This setup can be used to farm resources and honor infinitely with no losses, which allows you to generate enough Alchemy stones to equip all your heroes with full divine gear.

Troops to focus: Swordman, Archer, Healer. Heroes to focus on: Avalon, Virion, Vega, Elena, Yip2. Lich: Extremely strong PVP and very good at defense in the lategame (castle 40, 180-200 points of research on key troops). Struggles at castle siege hence it is difficult to farm resources and honor to keep up with humans, but can crush humans/dwarfs in PVP with ease. Mummies in wall summon skeletons from Swordman's corpses and is the only viable counter to the OP Virion strat.

90% undead troop resurrect on wall means that it takes forever to take down a good Lich garrison. Troops to focus on: Spiders, Scorpions, Mummies. Key heroes: Rose, Cleo, Gan. Avoid dueling Rakan unless you are heavily outstatting them.3. Dwarf: They are very strong in mid-game and good if you are much higher in levels compared to the rest of your server, but in lategame this is not a very viable race. Dwarf are all about high risk, high return: for example Rifleman can deal devastating damage if their Headshots proc, but if they dont then their damage output is much lower than other race counterparts.

Similar story with Mech and Tanks, these units are significantly stronger than other race counterparts but they don't get injured and cost a lot of resources to maintain. In the long run the upkeep from dead mechanical units is not sustainable and they cannot keep up with the no-loss siege of Humans or 100% injury rate duels of Lich. That being said, Dwarfs are strong for PVE in general and one of the strongest races for Void mirror (past stage 80 particularly). Key troops: Blasters, Mech, Riflemen. Heroes to focus: Gafgar, Nora, Grimms.4. Rakan: A very niche race, they are incredibly strong in some areas and suck at everything else.

Rakan are the quintessential support race, with an added edge in PVP vs lich. Loaned Crossbows are excellent for clearing Void levels, loaned Monks will help your Human friends take on Dwarf or Lich castles, loaned Turtles are good for everything. Requires a lot of Elixir to keep using the Ale abilities which means that every attack is expensive. They are a very strong race choice for perfecting Void (especially 40 - 80).

Key troops: Monks, Crossbows, Turtles. Key heroes: Mako, Denji, Yip, Avalon.General tips for heroes: If you are looking to PVP a lot and want to be among top few duelists in the server, you will need a LOT of stats (especially might and command). Top duelists on my server (109-118 merged) have somewhere in the ballpark of 850 might and 1100 command. This requires heavy investment on linari to buy stats from shop and to buy chests to pump up heroes, so be prepared for that. If you don't wish to spend heavily, try to use maximum number of heroes possible and equip them with the best possible gear. These heroes are strong regardless of race and absolutely essential for all races if they want to duel or siege:1. Jacques: Everyone's favorite and everyone's most hated, this is an absolute must.

Be warned though, if you dont keep Jac up in levels then he falls behind in impact a lot when the players start reaching the lategame. In the early and mid game, Jac dominates at unfair levels. At castle 40 with max research troops, Jac is among top 5 damage dealers in PVP or Siege, so still remains relevant provided he has max stats, levels and gear.2.

Rose, Bane: Clubbing them together since they have a similar kind of status. They are just very strong standalone heroes. Rose summons spiderlings and Bane has massive damage mitigation which allows them to increase overall durability for your troops.3. Cleo: Her ultimate Book of Eclipse aka Black Hole is usually the first ability used by all players in duel and Siege. Its the strongest mass disable ability and is good regardless of race.4.

Denji, Nora: They have passive abilities which boost Might and can be further improved with the Mechanist or Gladiator item sets to add more stats. They have auras which benefit Monks/Blasters, but many Human/Lich players prefer these heroes simply to boost stats.General tip for exploiting race strengths: One way to have the best of everything is to keep several alternate accounts. These are easy to create using PC software like Nox or Bluestacks and Android phones allow you to switch between accounts fairly easily. Currently my main account is level 40 human and i have 3 other accounts: level 35 human for Healers, level 32 dwarf for Cannons, level 39 Rakan for Turtle and Monks.By spreading the research and building queues across several accounts you can keep getting stronger units of a certain kind while ignoring everything else (my main account has less than 50 points of research on Healers, but maxed out swords and archers). This would take a LOT of time and effort, but its one viable way to stay ahead if you dont want to spend 10,000 - 20,000 dollars to be at par with the server's whales. A more balanced alternative is to have a good mix of humans, lich, rakan and dwarf among your friends so you can help each other out with loans.

At the very least, creating a small Rakan alt for Turtle loan is strongly advised because the Gold Dragon Turtle is very effective even at level 2 or 3 (it takes 2 weeks to get an account to that stage from scratch with moderate effort).Good luck and enjoy! Feel free to ask me about anythign specific and would love to hear your opinions about races too. I crafted a lot of Messianic Scepters and have high command overall, so am able to maintain an army of 4 gold swords and 2 gold archers. If you fall short of gold cap, you can try silver archers instead but 4 sets of gold swords are absolutely needed. For siege, just go with the best available troop - Dwarf cannons are stronger than others hence are preferable.

I use 2 gold level 12 cannons and 1 gold level 10 cannon (all loaned from alts). You could work with silver catas too if cannons are not available for loan, but generally even silver cannons level 11 are more effective than silver catas level 12. Yes I remember the feeling, till about level 30 spears and horses feel stronger. After castle 30 the research benefits from swords start to outweigh horses and spears.

Also note that gold swords (Legionnaires) are fundamentally a very different unit from silver swords due to the morale immunity. The way each set of swords work is that when the opponent front line attacks they are able to kill off the first row (8 out of 24) while the last 2 rows keep up the line and continue to tank/attack. Near the end of the battle you use Virion resurrect to revive the swords which fell. If you are using silver swords, as soon as the first 8 of each set are killed the back lines lose morale and run off.So I would suggest at your current level, keep using your existing setup but prioritize research on Swords so by the time you hit 30 they are at high research. I'm a little late to this thread, but hoping you could answer a couple questions:. Until I unlock gold swords, is the best set up 4 silver spear front line + horses, archers, and priests?. For a regular human set up with no loans, what do you recommend?

4 gold sword front line with what else?. For your siege set up, why are you bringing cannons?

I thought they cannot plunder resources and were only for breaking down walls?. Can you recommend where to prioritize putting XP and stat cards for the F2P heroes, and boosting which hero's stats would offer the most value per linari?. Answers:Until you unlock gold swords you aren't really geared for good pvp, so use whatever you wish or don't pvp at all. Would recommend using all hero energy available to level up heroes and gain resources for building/research. If you start fighting too early you may damage your economy.4 gold sword front line with silver archers and healers.During siege the most important aspect is clearing the garrison. The quicker you clear the fewer troops you lose. Cannons deal bonus damage to garrison troops (for example those pesky archers on top of the wall).

Every siege setup should run 3 siege weapons at the back targetting each section of the wall (left, mid, right). Wall damage from siege also earns you honor which is as important as other resources.Avalon and virion top priority. You want these heroes to have the highest levels and best stats as soon as possible.

Prioritise command on Avalon and once he is maxed you should start putting all other cards on Virion (might, magic, stamina too). The added bonus of this is that a well sttated Virion can craft any item in the game (once you start crafting divines you will see the need for high stat combinations). Abilities to learn: Avalon (archer aura, ardent aura, natural leader) Virion (swordman aura, crusader ressurection, morale boost ability).
